Since I've moved to AZ I seriously miss the punch pulchinella. My mouth waters thinking of it. It's a must visit for me whenever I am able to visit MN
MoreFantastic food, great staff, and very interesting artwork! The only downside, the lack of parking.
MoreAwesome spot. Cool characters in this neighborhood spot. Napolitan pizza & calzones. Good salads and they don't skimp on the cheese. The cheese, by the way, is Buffalo cheese, both Mozzarella and Ricotta. Not the chicken wing kind, the fresh mild and tender kind. Delicious! Highly recommend. Beer & wine as well as soft drinks. Staff are cool & happy. Lots of smiles & laughs. Kim was awesome with us tonight. Go!
MoreMy favorite Neapolitan style pizza in Minneapolis. Pizza is served quickly and customer service is always superb. The crust has a perfect balance of softness and crisp, and the tomato sauce has a robust tangy taste. The cheese and toppings are always fresh and cooked to perfection. On this day I had the Toscano (see pic).
MoreFantastic Pizza and wonderful staff. Was a delight dining there with a large group of friends. Very helpful service and knowledgeable regarding the items offered there.
MoreGreat customer service and food
This Punch is the best of them all, the menu has the best pizzas that you don'tfind on the menus at the other locations
MoreSuch an amazing place and atmosphere. We went there tonight for my fathers birthday and he really enjoyed it! Everyone was so nice especially our waitress. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone:)
MoreA St. Paul institution - this location has an actual sit-down atmosphere which sets it apart from the other locations in the Twin Cities.
MorePunch has the best pizza I've had in quite a while. The crust is perfect, light and airy, but still soft with a little crisp to it. The flavor profiles are very unique, and authentically Italian. The service we had was fantastic, the young lady was very attentive, despite being solo on the patio and running around like crazy. She gave two fantastic recommendations, and the one we chose was out of this world. I don't remember the name, but it had arugula, prosciutto, goat cheese, and red pepper. It had the tiniest bit of heat to it, which was balanced out perfectly by the super creamy goat cheese. 10/10, I'll definitely be back!
MoreIt was good but I don't like the restraint style
Service, quality of the food and wait times are exceptional. I eat here a couple times a month and they have consistently exceeded my expectations, also the calzones are to die for. Highly recommend, hats off to the team here!
MoreLove this place!! Pizza is Neapolitan style- thin crust. Salads are fantastic; I’m partial to the Greek or the Punch. Note: pizza is best eaten STRAIGHT AWAY! Either eat in or live not more than a block away if you decide to carry out. Time is not on your side... once it cools down, some of the “wow” factor dissipates. (Still tasty 😊)
MoreThis place is worth a try. They serve large portions for fair rates. Regularly well kept and with excellent ambience. Will come back again.
MoreFantastic. Like other locations it's a bit small and parking can be a challenge. Pizza is amazing. Salads and appetizers are great. Don't miss out on the bread pudding - it has to be tasted to be believed. Keep an eye on the ceiling and see how many cats you can count too...
MoreThe food is always well prepared and delicious, workers hands over great customer service. I liked how clean it is and character. Will come visit again.
MoreI love every pizza I try at punch!
Punch Pizza is one of those restaurants with food so good that you can’t stop telling others. You have to eat here. This is traditional, Italian style pizza, with chewy, salty dough, and an excellent balance of sauce, cheese, and toppings. Eat here.
MoreNot sure what all the hype is about. The crust is thin, wet, mushy. Lacked flavor, first time I've actually had to add salt and pepper to a pizza before.. Service was super fast though.
MoreThis was our first time here and we loved it. Courteous and timely service, along with great pizza. Couldn't ask for more! You can make your pizza or choose one from the menu. We chose to make our own because we prefer no meat.
MoreTop notch atmosphere, good menu, good parking, bar area, and outdoor seating. Superb!!
MoreFirst time and it was fabulous! Host Miranda was super friendly and Karen killed it on kindness as my server! Karen even brought me some vinegar and olive to sunk my crust!!! I will be back!!!
MoreWe love this place! Yummy!
Love their wood fired pizza, great variety of toppings! We ordered a basic pepperoni and the Maximus which was great!! I also LOVE the Punch Salad, simple yet really good. Love the foccacia bread too! Can't go wrong really, with anything...!
MoreDifferent than your usual pizza. You won't find a typical pepperoni or sausage option here. Special style from Italy. One size pizza but me and my husband split one because we weren't starving. Light and fresh flavor choices and the dough is incredible. Love everything about this pizza!
MoreGot there when it was fairly busy and still got seated reasonably quickly. Met with good service and pizza
MoreFriendly staff, reasonable quick service and thin crust oven baked pizza that is unbelievable awesome!
MoreBest pizza in Twin Cities! So darn good!! Definitely busy during normal hours.
Punch pizza is hands down my favorite pizza in town, and this location is great. They have a slightly expanded menu, table service, and a fun environment. I've always had good service here, and the food is consistently delicious. It can feel a little crowded on the weekends, but I've never had to wait for a table, although I imagine it's possible. If you like Neopolitan, wood-fired pizza, you should give this place a try. My favorite is the siciliana, which is artichokes, olives, prosciutto, mozzarella, and crushed tomatoes. The pizzas are light on sauce and heavy on toppings, with thin crust that is easier to eat if slightly folded.
MoreThis is the one that started it all! The puttanesca pizza is delicious and will make you love anchovies. The Greco salad is also our favorite.
MoreDelicious Neapolitan Pizza! Cooked in a stone oven! The flavor, the texture, the toppings ...SO GOOD! We also tried their chopped italian salad and some of their focaccia bread with a tapenade-like spread, which were also incredible! The atmosphere was lively and cozy...perfect for a family outing! The staff was attentive and helpful! They have seating inside and outside (cute patio) and there is a parking lot available for customers.
MoreAfter several weeks all over Italy, eating Neopolitan pizza (pizza quest), we honestly didn't find any better than Punch which is a few blocks from home. Who knew?
MoreThey have traditional Neapolitan pizza, certified by the international Neapolitan pizza council (a little pretentious but you know what you're getting). If you're familiar w the Stadium Village location, don't expect the same discounted $6 pizzas, because you won't find them here. I love the Chopped Italian salad. You get fresh bread (pizza dough) seasoned w rosemary w every salad... and it might be the best thing they serve.
MoreI'm vegan, and I customized my pizza. Did the margherita, no cheese and added a few other toppings and WOW it was still so delicious. Drizzled some olive oil on there and it was amazing. Came out soooo fast too, was nice and fresh and hot. Their military discount is 50% off also, incredible. Will definitely be back!
MoreGreat food, kind staff, constantly excellent vibes. They charge reasonable rates and the food quality is excellent. Great work.
More20yrs coming here always 5 star service and pizza. My fav: punch salad and artichoke dip. Can be loud and often requires wait at peak times.
MoreFantastic wait staff! Great Neapolitan Pizza! A must in a great neighborhood of St. Paul, MN
MoreSuch constantly wonderful food. I usually get a Punch salad but splurge on a pizza now and then. I've been eating at Punch a couple times a week for 20 years now. Great staff too!
MoreAttentive staff, meticulous attention to detail and great pizza!
The smallest location I have visited, but still the same delicious Punch Pizza. A downside about this location is there's only about 15 tables in this place, do not visit during standard lunch/dinner hours! Really tight space, can barely walk between the tables. Service was slow, had to wait to be seated and wait for the check. Just wanted a quick dinner and ended up being there for about an hour.
MoreVisited for my first time while in town for the Miranda Lambert concert. There was a bit of a wait around 6:30pm (~20 minutes) but we weren't in a hurry. I ordered the Cortina "pizza bianco" and added sausage, and it was perfect. The gorgonzola cheese and roasted garlic truly made the flavors. Wait for food wasn't very long, and they offered a good variety of craft and seasonal beers to drink while you waited. Service was great - overall a great spot for woodfired pizza. I will be back!
MoreSalad was great. Could do without rosemary bread. Calzone had raw dough on the top. They remade without calzone without sauce. But sauce was cold. If you like basil flavour this might be the place for you.
MoreI love this punch pizza! If you like more sit-down style eating this is for you! It also has many more items than a normal punch pizza. This place has amazing Neapolitan style pizza and pasta!
MoreQuick friendly service. Short wait time. Maximus pizza was amazing; perfect combo with the salty, briney olives and mushrooms. The Bruni was good, but could have used a little more zip. The chopped italian salad is a MUST! So complex; salty, tangy.
MoreAbsolutely love Punch Pizza. This location has a small outside seating with a well lit, comfortable seating inside as well. The staff is professional and friendly, and the food is fantastic. This is not your every day generic pizza folks!
MoreIncredibly fast and friendly service. This is the place to go if you're starving and in the mood for amazing pizza. Faster and more delicious than delivery, and beautiful outdoor patio. They have a good selection of beers as well. I would come back again.
MoreWaitress made the experience. Friendly, helpful and engaged in her job. Smaller capacity venue. The pizza selection is almost overwhelming but does not disappoint. Their pizzas are very thin crust and handmade, one per person. Definitely a different style of pizza. Finding parking was difficult as lot was full.
MoreBest Pizza ever!!!!!! I can't get tired of it . . . . . . but I also can't get it any more, because their wealthy progressive ownership, would rather see our community collapse through over-hyped Covid-9 fear and isolation. Hey John, Hey Nick! What restaurants have you been visiting during this quarantine, while the rest of us, like those who used to work at your restaurant, have to work our "essential" agricultural, restaurant, and healthcare jobs so your needs are met? I thought we were in this together?
MoreBest pizza when you want to recall your trip to Naples Italy.
The original home of Punch pizza, this charming little restaurant is the only Punch that offers table side service. The waitresses were friendly and knowledgeable and the pizza, all Napoleon style with a thin, bubbly crust baked in a wood fire oven, was delicious. We tried the original margherita, which is always a good standard to compare all pizza to, and the maximus, which was mildly spicy with pepperoni and olives. Both were very good, although like every margherita pizza I ever eat, I want the chef to break tradition and layer on twice the basil. We shared bread pudding for dessert and it was more like a cobbler, layered with berries--and also very tasty. We plan to return.
